Classroom Evaluation
Quizzes & Assignments (in-class & after-class): 45%; Midterm Exam: 20%; Final Project: 25%; Participation: 10%
Course Objective
This one-semester course aims to enhance students’ English proficiency through online materials, AI tools, and workplace communication. Activities focus on all language skills, including listening, speaking, reading, vocabulary, writing, and presentation. By the end of the semester, students will be able to use AI and online resources independently for language learning and complete a project to refine their presentation skills.

Course Requirements
  1. Be on time. Being late more than 15 minutes will be considered an absence.
  2. Attendance policy: If you must miss a class due to an unavoidable circumstance (e.g., sick leave, injury, or a family emergency), please notify me in advance by email.
  3. Late work and make-up tests: Late assignments will not be accepted and there will be no late assignments.
  4. Mobile phone use: Please set your cell phone to silent mode during class. You may use your phone only for dictionary lookup or information searches related to the lesson.
  5. Quizzes and exams: Assessments will be based on materials covered in class. Please preview and review the class materials every week.
