Course Objective
Building on the speaking and listening focus of the first-year curriculum, this second-year course places greater emphasis on academic reading, critical thinking, and the development of academic vocabulary.

Students will explore a variety of academic and real-world topics through reading, pair and group discussions, and whole-class activities. They will be encouraged to express their ideas both orally and in writing. Class activities include interactive discussions, group tasks, and collaborative presentations, all aimed at strengthening their academic English skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

Course Objective
Course Description

This course is designed to meet the academic needs of students by equipping them with the skills necessary to engage with college-level materials. To further enhance their language proficiency, students will make use of audio-visual supplements and participate in out-of-class speaking and writing activities. The course aims to develop well-rounded English learners who are prepared to use academic English effectively across various contexts.

Course Objectives

This one-semester course aims to enhance students’ English proficiency through online materials, AI tools, and workplace communication. Activities focus on all language skills, including listening, speaking, reading, vocabulary, writing, and presentation. By the end of the semester, students will be able to use AI and online resources independently for language learning and complete a project to refine their presentation skills.

In addition to improving their English proficiency and professional knowledge, this course also encourages students to take English proficiency exams.

Course Objective
This year-long course integrates the four key language skills to help students become more proficient and confident readers. While the primary focus is on academic reading and vocabulary development, the course also encourages students to actively discuss and write about the ideas they encounter in their readings.

The goal is to enhance students’ English proficiency, enabling them to become stronger readers, speakers, listeners and writers. To achieve this, the course incorporates a variety of activities, including listening practice, discussions, collaborative group tasks, and presentations.

Course Objective
This year-long course integrates four key language skills to help students become more skilled and confident readers. While the primary focus is on academic reading and vocabulary development, the course also encourages students to actively discuss and write about the ideas they discover in their readings.
The goal is to improve students’ English proficiency, enabling them become better readers, speakers, and writers. To achieve these goals, the course incorporates various activities, including listening practice, discussions, collaborative tasks, and presentations.

    • Be on time. Arriving more than 15 mintues late will be considered an absence. .
    • If you must miss a class due to unavoidable circumstances (e.g., illness, injury, family emergency), please email me in advance.
  2. Late assignments will not be accepted and make-up tests will not be provided. .
  3. Mobile Phone Usage:
    • Please switch your mobile phone to silent mode during class.
    • Unless it’s used for dictionary lookup or information searching, kindly refrain from using it during class.
  4. Quizzes:
    • Regular quizzes will be conducted, covering materials from both textbooks and class presentations.
    • To stay prepared, it is trongly advised to preview and review class materials each week.

Course Objective
In this one-semester course, students will learn English used in a range of different business contexts. The focus of this class is on developing students’ listening and speaking skills through graded activities. Conversation strategies in business contexts will be addressed. Grammar, vocabulary support, and TOEIC practice will be provided as well. Class activities will include listening, speaking, reading, vocabulary learning, and writing exercises. By the end of the semester, students will be familiar with key terms, topics, and skills relevant to today’s business environment.

Course Objective
In this one-year, four-skill integrated course, students will strengthen their language skills essential for college-level coursework.
