Course Objective |
本課程在引導學生善用科技以及網路英語學習資源,有效提升英語聽、說、讀、寫之相關能力,並激發其學習意願。修完此課程之學生,將能有效運用科技以及線上資源,解決自我英語學習相關之問題,期能達到獨立學習以及終生學習之目的。
In this one-semester class, students will be introduced to various technologies and online resources that can be used to enhance their listening, speaking, and writing abilities. Students will explore these resources and discuss how they could cater to their learning needs. By the end of the course, students will be familiar with some useful tools and be able to apply them to their future learning. |

Course Objective |
In this one-year, four-skill integrated course, students will strengthen their language skills essential for college-level coursework. It covers skills and strategies for effective reading and writing, vocabulary building, critical thinking, and academic presentation. Students will be encouraged to discuss and write about the ideas they discover in readings to become better speakers and writers of English. Additionally, students will engage in a variety of activities, including discussions, group activities, and group presentations. |

Course Objective |
In this one-semester course, students will learn essential business-related vocabulary, grammar rules, and sentence structures applicable to the business world. They will also practice reading articles and composing letters to enhance their business communication and writing skills. Class activities include reading, vocabulary learning, speaking, and writing exercises. By the end of the semester, students will be familiar with key terms, subjects, and skills relevant to today’s business environment. |

Guidelines for Reflection Paper
CALL (Spring, 2023)
- The paper must be typed.
- The paper should be 1.5 to 2 pages long (1.5 spaced).
- Writing should use formal English, correct spelling, and punctuation.
- Topics may include any information covered in class or from the readings.
- Consider the followings when writing your reflection:
- Do you think the English class this semester is helpful to you?
- What have we studied/learned so far that interests you?
- What new things have you learned?
- How has your learning affected the preconceptions or misconceptions you brought with you into this class?
- How has your learning influenced your view of computers in language learning?
- Will what you have learned to change your behavior in the future?
- Deadline: Please submit your reflection paper to Blackboard before June 10 (Midnight, Saturday, 6/10/2023). Please also hand in a hard copy when you come to the class on Wednesday (6/14/2023).
Attention:
Writing a reflection helps you find what is meaningful to you and adds value to your learning. Do not simply outline or summarize the materials we have covered. I want to know what the materials mean to you.
